Why did Mary J. Blige go from 1,745,000,000 streams to 1,608,000,000 streams?? You people need to messing up her streams. And she has 3 songs with 100 million streams, since She's credited on "Stay With Me" by Sam Smith.
15 days went by without updating Xtina and when they updated it only increased by 2M and she does this a day and still took 200M from the featsm
Hi Emerzonne,
It's interesting that with your combo of fanatic and complotist mindset, you point out numbers not going high enough, but you say nothing when a glitch boosts her total.
In fact, if she increased by only 2m streams after 2 weeks, it's simply because an inflated total got saved due to a duplicated track, but when that 30m daily jump happened there have been no comment from you.
I'm curious about what counts as a featured stream and what counts as an actual stream. For example, BTS has 361K featured streams in this table, but a song they did with Coldplay (on a Coldplay album) has 874K streams, which I assume are counted as actual streams here. This thus raises the question of what is counted as a featured stream.
In this comment, I accidentally said 361K and 874K when it was supposed to be 361 million and 874 million. So here's a little correction.
Hi MJD!
Can you change Bad Bunny stats?
Have 9 bilion songs and not 8.
And 164 songs not 161.
Search for Soundgarden returned 1.46 Billion. Could they be added to list.
I'd be interested in this too. It must be an automated process, because there is too much data to do this by hand. So it is either in Spotify's metadata, or they are just using something as simple as "If it says (feat. BTS) then it is a feature, otherwise it counts as a lead stream". a good case is Highway Don't Care and Taylor Swift. To me this is clearly a feature, as she has no writing credit and mostly sings the two-line chorus (and a little on a verse). But it does not say (feat. Taylor Swift) anywhere so maybe it is counted as a lead stream
Using songwriting credit to determine what feature or lead artist will be pain in the ass. A lot of artists don't even has songwriting credits. Not to mention, how do you assign a cover song? Classic example is Whitney "I Will Always Love You", should it be counted for Dolly Parton too? To me it's how the label/artist define the song, if it stated as "And" then it will be credited as lead, "Feat." will always be assigned as feature.
Anyway, I have this confusion. How do you define BTS individual members featured/collabed songs? For example Charlie Puth - Light and Switch (feat. Jung Kook of BTS). If I'm not mistaken Spotify somehow counts the song as part of BTS.
there is an error in the streaming number for ...And Justice for All (Metallica), yesterday it reported 1,225,000 streams and today instead 1,184,000 streams.
Bad bunny has 10 song with 1 bilion streams and Justin Bieber also! Can you change that!

with each update Christina Aguilera's feats decrease, it's good that we know what her feats are to add correctly
