I feel like pointing out SNEP rules issues every few albums. Here is one more occurrence. Officially, Michael Jackson blockbuster Bad never charted in 2016 in the Catalog Chart, which should have put it way down on this list. It hasn’t chart because it isn’t selling though – only because the SNEP is weirdly enough considering it a new album since the beginning of 2016. As a result, it charted various times inside the weekly Top Album Chart which features only albums under 2 years old, on positions that would have make it a solid entry inside the Top 50 Catalog Chart. Even if the two big selling compilations Number Ones and The Essential are absent from this list as they haven’t sold a million, Bad isn’t the last Michael Jackson album to be part of this update…
