Just like the previous album, The King Of Limbs was first released digitally by the band itself before being released in CD six weeks later. With no strong single the album had a limited impact upon release and no legs. It debuted at #8 and lasted only 12 weeks inside the Top 200. It sold nearly 30,000 units in 2011.
A remix album was issued a few months later, TKOL RMX 1234567, selling less than 5,000 copies.
