For many years Madonna has been struggling to gain strong rotation on US radio stations. As a result, for the second time in a row she paired with hyper young acts on her lead single, Give Me All Your Luvin’ feat. Nicki Minaj & M.I.A.

Hitting #3 thanks to the hype around this come back and popularity of featured artists, Give Me All Your Luvin’ failed to hold in the middle to long run. By the time the album was released, the single was already down to #25. As following singles all bombed, MDNA had no legs at all. Debuting in March with 41,000 at #2 behind the yearly charity Les Enfoirés album, it ended 2012 on 89,000 copies, barely more than twice the first week figure.

Logically, the related live album MDNA World Tour, had one of the most outrageous free fall by dropping 6-37-72-127-180 in the Album chart selling 8,000 copies on its first week and an abysmal 4,000 more before leaving the ranking.
