1989 is gaining CSPC twice as fast as 25, and the TV will do at least 1m pure, probably a fair bit more considering Red easily crossed that and 1989 is a more successful album. To count 1989 out in the long run is foolish.
You are making a mistake with the pure sales of "30" in the United States, those numbers correspond to Billboard reports (or HDD).Billboard excludes box sets and bundles, while RIAA and IFPI have added these units, so it's not just a shipping issue. This 1m gap is of units that were sold under these figures and Billboard decided not to include while RIAA, Columbia and IFPI did add these sales.
Hi, I have two questions. The first question, the data you gave shows that there are 15,500 pure sales data in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and 20,000 in Latin America, but there are exact data that show that on December 20, 2021, 30 won the gold album in Chile Certified, 3,500 pure sales, plus Chile, pure sales have reached 20,000, but Latin America is not the only four countries, so I am full of doubts. The second question, Brazil is the largest music market in Latin America, and easy on me has also achieved good results. Why is the pure sales data of 30 in Brazil lower than that of Mexico, Argentina, and even Chile?I hope you can respond to me, thank you!
Appreciate your work! I have a question on Chinese streams, that is when an album was up for sale first and then after several years or months it was free for streaming, which is the same case of 25 and 30, how do you count the streams? I see you count Hello and Send My Love by QQ music views*50 and Easy On Me by *5, but both Hello and Easy On Me are free for streaming now. So it seems like a paradox to me. Could you explain it to me? Thanks a lot!
yes, chartmasters has been uninformed, it already sold out more than 5M, with more than 500k sold out for vinyl sales.
ignorant for them to put the vinyl sales at 290k, when again the stocks of 500k for vinyls has been soldout.
Shipments are not the same than sales. Ifpi report shipments (indeed having 1.5 unsold albums in stores is a big headed for Sony). Her sales in US, UK, Japan, SK, France, Germany, Australia, Canada, China…are public, where are supposed to come the other 1.5? Has Taylor sold more in Latvia than in US? Or in Czech Republic than in UK?
Yeah, I think the admin should ban that user just like he did on that Eminem fan. We should not let trolls infest this site.
Yup, some people unaware that IFPI actually counts shipments not actual sales. 30 was massively overshipped.
1989 is at 21.76M right now, once he updates the stat with implementation of new Chinese and YouTube formula, I expect it to be at 23-24M. Red TV did wonder as it boosts another 4M+ EAS so far and both albums combined still having healthy gain right now. 1989 is considered her biggest peak so if things go in right direction, I believe 1989 TV will add millions EAS too so 1989 reaching 25 is not a delusional think.
*has Adele (sorry I was thinking in the following updates and I wrote Taylor’s name instead)
I live Adele so much. I'm so glad she's now joined the 100 million club, and so in such a short span of time. Impressed 😁😁😁😁
