2012 TOP 60 HITS – 31 to 35

Two modern day classics, 2012 outputs from Kendrick Lamar and Frank Ocean continue to grow. Both Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe and Thinking Bout You peaked at #32 in the US, both did even worse in the UK (#178 and #94) and both failed to chart in every major market from Oceania, Asia or continental Europe. This shows how widely acclaimed quality can make up for a softer initial reception as those songs are now up to impressive totals at Spotify. The song m.A.A.d city is the second non-single to manage an entry on this list, the second from Kendrick Lamar. The American rapper has truly been highly successful even if his Hot 100 peaks do not always reveal it – this song peaked at #75.

Calvin Harris makes it again this time with Sweet Nothing. Some Nights is the first entry for Fun. but as you may guess We Are Young has yet to come.
