France Album Sales: Beyonce

While Beyonce just ended to drop the not-so-unexpected new album Lemonade, it is about time to review her discography performances in France. Just like Coldplay, she is pretty much in the middle of the road. She is too young to put her along with legendary Divas like Celine Dion, Madonna, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston or Barbra Streisand. She is too old to feature with among the young generation a la Katy Perry, Meghan Trainor or Ariana Grande. She is too big to be compared with Kelly Rowland, Brandy or Gwen Stefani.

Before Lemonade Beyonce already issued five major solo efforts, plus four more with the Destiny’s Child, not counting one Christmas album and various remix and compilation packages. If she never had a major seller in France, all those records certainly add for some sales.
