Hi Chartmasters! If Coldplay would release a greatest hits, do you believe it could be big like Queen's GH? They have similar discographies with a lot of popular albums with one or two hits on each one of them.

Like 25.000.000 copies to sold ? In streaming era ? I think , if industry of physical/digital sales was on the same level as in 1990-s , Coldplay may have to sold 15 millions copies of GH . But now most likely 300.000-500.000 .

They wouldn't sell anywhere near as much as Queen duo to the streaming era, but it would definitely be one of those albums that keep charting forever.

I'm insulted by Queen and coldplay being in the same sentense together.

At this rate I'm convinced Parachutes will become Coldplay's biggest album, which is completely insane considering its original chart peaks. This is, of course, if no AROBTTH tracks go viral this year. Touring really did wonders to their catalogue.

AROBTTH still has more than 10 years to go viral at this rate. But their catalogue is growing a lot indeed!

As of today, Parachutes is more streamed on Spotify than A Rush Of Blood to the Head. I never would have guessed 20 years ago that it would age better

Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends is certified 2× Diamond + 4× Platinum in Mexico for 1,200,000 units in 2010, this means the album is already well over 10 million pure copies: https://amprofon.com.mx/es/pages/certificaciones.php

Musoc of the Sphere os doing quite good, after the flop of Everday life. 2 million Eas from streaming alone and the european leg just started . Their longevity is amazing.

Btw, Amazing show. I was not a fan, but Their Performance is God tier.

Coldplay are moving 7 to 8 million eas per year. In decade with their live reputation being so good. They will be crossing 200 million eas with new releases as well as catalog sales. Organic af

Coldplay has sold 350k tickets in india alone. Their impact is surreal and crazy fact they can double the sales. That is their demand here
