Already ahead of Little Mix, with their 17 million equivalent album sales Blackpink are comfortably the biggest female group on the planet right now.
With one fourth of the quartet, Lisa, releasing her first single album next week, expect to keep hearing about the group. In spite of their healthy sales, it feels like they are just getting started.

Thank you for adding them to your artist list. Just 1 question about digital sales, from what I know their songs forever young & dddd are certified for 2.5m downloads in korea. Are these not being counted anymore because of the chart being streaming based now?
We have to add an additional 0 for their singles sales, right? Like HYLT would be 17M.

Just like with remaining artists, 'download' sales for SK are discontinued from the end of 2017. At that point downloads were already part of subscriptions, they weren't individually paid-of. With 2016-2017, the highest seller in SK is Playing With Fire at 1974k.

If you want to convert all singles data into singles sales, you need to use the Songs' table last column and add a 0.

Amazing results especially for a K-pop Act! Can you do TWICE? They've been the best selling K-pop Girl Group of all time with 10m sales in just Korea and Japan. I don't know their CSPC so it'd be nice if you do them too!

Studio albums are pure sales (physical + downloads) of the album itself. The exception comes from Chinese downloads, which are weighted down due to their lack of control, so they are listed as part of the compilations list with a weight that is equal to the album download price divided by 50 (= an album at 20Y is worth 0.4).

We are well aware of these certifications, they aren't in line with how downloads are counted elsewhere though. By downloads, it's implicitely meant paid-for downloads. In South Korea, they used to have subscribers opening unlimited downloads, and then now it only takes a streaming subscriber who makes a song available offline. That's how the download market there is worth less than $10 million per year, yet they claim millions and millions sales.
We still account for downloads up to 2017 with the full ratio because our set of indicators was lacking representation of SEA success. Now that Genie streams are very relevant and factored into the formula, it would be double counting to keep adding these post-2017 'downloads'.
Its make me confused at the beginning cz as long as I remember , The Album sales ( physical data on Gaon ) was 1,4M and on this data is 1,8M
