The truth about Britney Spears’ album sales in Europe

CENTRAL EUROPE – HUNGARY

Hungary appears to be a true twin market of the Czech Republic. Their national certifications evolved the same way, their size is similar too, and their reception of foreign singers are identical.

With this is mind, Britney’s albums sales are truly similar as well. Figures are slightly bigger, perfectly reflecting the slightly largest Hungarian market in latter years – 4 million against 3 million albums sold in 2005.

Merging all the data together concludes on the following album sales to date:

  • Baby One More Time – 36,000
  • Oops!… I did It Again – 40,000
  • Britney – 22,000
  • In The Zone – 15,000
  • Greatest Hits, My Prerogative – 12,000
  • Blackout – 5,000
  • Circus – 6,000
  • The Singles Collection – N/A
