The truth about Britney Spears’ album sales in Europe

The main information coming out of Britney.com ‘s pages refers to In The Zone, which is confirmed as a Platinum-eligible album. Our estimates had it already over the 200,000 units level, although it may still be a bit lower than 230,000 copies sold given Platinum wasn’t crossed by 2006.

The remaining certifications stand as expected. Oops hasn’t sold that much after being certified at 900,000 units, which means the 3xP award most likely came at the end of 2001, although the German database doesn’t specify the exact certification date, only the year.
