France Album Sales: Coldplay

How do we classify Coldplay? They are too young to put them among the Classic Rock Bands group with the likes The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Queen or Led Zeppelin. They are too old to feature with among the young generation a la Imagine Dragons, Vampire Weekend, Hozier or Mumford & Sons. They are too big to be compared with Muse, Radiohead or Blur.

France hasn’t always been a strong market for them but since their sales started to dip in UK with Viva La Vida album, ironically their popularity in France exploded. Let’s review their entire discography and how their album sales stand as of today!
