The promotion of Dion Chante Plamondon was extended so much that we may forget the star in the making released an eponymous English album, follow up to 1990 Unison, in March 1992.
The set hadn’t one but two US Top 10 singles with Beauty And The Beast and If You Asked Me To. It became Celine Dion first album to break the million mark within’ its promotional campaign, reaching it by July after its March release.
In France, as Ziggy had yet to break the main audience for the Canadian singer, the album failed to chart just like all  its singles, selling a mere 30,000 units.
