From the discussion on the github for the sp-playcount-librespot bug reports:
"I think Spotify finally killed support for this mercury endpoint."
This implies that a lot of people are going to have to re-write their Spotify playcount clients. This probably includes chartmasters. I notice there is another site that already appears to have more up-to-date streaming data than chartmasters (data updated 2023/06/24).

So kworb is using a different code then because they aren’t having any issues?
Yes, Chartmasters' data is a week old while Kworb kept updating regularly since then :
Ed Sheeran - ÷ 13.43b (4.5m daily)
Bad Bunny - Un Verano Sin Ti 13.33b (13.8m daily)
It took Metallica's Black Album more than a year to slowly inch and overtake ''Californication'' and (What's the Story) Morning Glory, and just like that, it's 55k behind them. What's the point of these arbitrary charts when there's no rhyme or reason and an album can steadily rise for a year then fall 10 places seemingly out of nowhere?
When counting madonnas album streams, do you combine the celebration and normal version streams?
