Black rappers never cracked europe in album sales like eminem did and the reason is very obvious, which eminem even accepted in song that he sells more records due to certain reasons. Rappers are known there but people don't purchase their music. No you all can act oblivious. Whereas likes of eminem accepted their privilege

What is the plan for places such as Japan and Korea. As YouTube is equally used as much as MelOn in Korea (and Gaon no longer displays streams and haven't done so in 6 years). YouTube and Spotify are far more used in Japan than AWA is with YouTube being a slightly more popular option.

Just a heads up, chartsdata on Twitter/X is posting numbers that contradict yours. They are posting numbers that imply Nicki Minaj currently has closer to 33 Billion Total Spotify streams NOT 32. They don't mention their sources.

Just want to reiterate, how yours and theirs contradict. They reported in January 2023 that Nicki reached 28 billion total Spotify sales and are now reporting she finished the year with 5.1 billion more total streams. This means her total would have to be closer to 33 billion NOT 32.

Numbers from the picture in this article date from a dozen of days ago, although streams converted into album sales in the final tables are constantly updated, every day. As you can see in the most streamed artists page, Nicki Minaj currently stands on 19,319,298,471 lead streams and 13,296,740,139 feature streams, for an updated total of 32.6 billion.

Hmm, okay then. I guess charts data on Twitter got it wrong this time. Any clue why their numbers are so far off? They are typically very accurate, just odd they've missed the mark by 500 million streams. Thanks so much for your reply!

Considering the notoriety of Pink Friday i was going to assume its success was on par with albums that came out around the same time like LOUD by Rihanna or Speak now by Taylor Swift. Nicki has allot of big songs but her individual album eras success are kinda blasé compared to the other female artists of her time. You would think with how much the barbz have hyped her up you would expect that she would at least have 10million pure units.

But to be fair consumption hasn't been best indicator of someone's popularity for the last 20 years considering that allot of artists success these days is indicative of a very large rabid online fanbase & not general public engagement.
