Either that or they'll wait for him to release a studio album. Next update will have him firmly in the top 10 best selling artists of all time. No shaky business. I think they wanna wait for a big moment to update him there.

Hello MJD team. Just out of interest, how many other acts would you estimate managed to reach 200 million EAS in under 25 years. It seems an astonishing feat!?!

I appreciate the music industry and how music is consumed have changed enormously over the years so it would be difficult to gauge. Just thought I'd ask is all!?!

Madonna is the most obvious one, maybe MJ (certainly if you include videos), also Céline Dion if you include, say, half of the Titanic soundtrack (Eminem's total including debatable stuff such as the 8 Mile soundtrack, D12 albums...etc.).

Did the Beatles only reach this milestone in the 90s? Or even with 1?

The Beatles peaked around the 90s so their best 25 years would be like 1982-2007 or something, maybe 190m EAS during that period.
