I don’t try to bring Madonna down but the truth is that Madonna hasn’t good streams at all nor a good catalogue at all too for the best selling female of all time. Sadly she will be easily surpassed by new generations soon, even MJD said that… At least Whitney is remembered by her musics used by new dj’s today and Mariah Christmas song makes her more appealing to the youngsters but Madonna’s biggest hit on Spotify Hung Up is only at 200 millions streams very low comparing to her total records physical sales so yeah maybe Janet’s numbers are pathetic but Madonna’s numbers are even more tragic for her standard ( and all the efforts she try to do to stay relevant and in…) she released 3 studio albums in the last decade did multiple tours and publish all day long on Instagram. Janet released only 1 album in 10 years toured until Covid and since living recluse so of course her streams numbers won’t go through the roof. She didn’t release anything since a long time
One billion streams is not enough for her to be on 1000 most streamed artists ever on Spotify list.
And I'am comparing her to the big four because Yasmeenvip did it first. Especially with Madonna and Celine.
