yet she ended up outselling Dua last year. And claiming ROM is only a hit because of Ariana is plain delusional since it's one of her most successful songs in Europe (where Gaga is huge) and one of her most awarded songs too.
Hey MJD,
I love this article! It's so interesting to see Gaga's wonderful career. I was just curious about a couple of things!
Is it possible to provide a figure for The Fame and The Fame Monster separately? I feel like it may more accurately depict the data as having them together seems to show a heavy decline while if they were separate, it may more accurately show her longevity for her first three eras! It would also be really nice, as a fan, just to know how The Fame and The Fame Monster sold separately.
I'm just curious but do you think that the numbers would be vastly different if streaming outlets such as Apple Music or Tidal wee included. I mean Spotify and Youtube are only a fraction of streaming services and many more streams come from other outlets. Do you think that there is anyway to find the missing information, and, if not, make an estimation within the article. I think that would be fair to all artists but especially streaming masters who derive a bulk of their sales from the streaming services.
I loved the article by the way! This whole website is truly fascinating and I do think that it is one of the most accurate ways of understanding an artists sales but I find, especially with The Fame and Fame Monster being together, it doesn't depict her impact as fairly as it could, in my opinion! Thanks for all the hard work!
Soon her theme song for the Top Gun movie will be out so it's better if you update her sales to see if this song will have any impact also on Shallow sales. About her career the fact that she changes a lot made it harder for her to have one kind of public so not all of her " fans " loves everything she does, I'm one of those that instead loves everything she will ever do because her style is so additive to me. Also I believe after her hard time with artpop, not just because behind the scenes a lot happened but because she was struggling with her health she definetly doesn't care about being at the top and you can see the difference between Chromatica and Love For Sale, for the second one she made more promo and an entire livestreamed show while for Chromatica just one televised performance that also got deleted. She does what she can to make everybody happy, even with A Star Is Born she only focused on one single (maybe not her choice) but sometimes less is more. She's definetly more happy now.
I'm curious and excited to see how her next album will do now that bundles have been ruled out and there doesn't seem to be a collaboration ready-made to boost streams and GP interest as was the case for her last two albums
Why are there so many Gaga haters here? She really keeps people pressed and angry lol

Gaga is a LEGEND. Other musicians really wish to be as iconic as her. Can't wait for #LG7 and her next CSPC update 🙂
Hello! When are you going to update? It's been almost 2 years from last update..
"Bloody Mary" has gone super viral on TiKTok and is pushing streams for the entire Born This Way album. I think this ensures the era will reach 15M+ units before long. I hope this convinces her to go back to that dark, macabre pop sound, it was something very unique and original to her.
Lady Gaga's Discography needs to be updated.
Especially the Digital Singles Sales. I noticed that Moves Like Jagger by Maroon 5 is increasing while Poker Face is still the same.
Noting that Poker Face outsold Moves Like Jagger ever since Chartmasters site created.
Take this into consideration admins.
Yes, and the Bad Romance digital downloads number dates back to 10 years. It’s definitely way past 12.5M as it had boosts over the years including her SuperBowl performance that made it chart in the US carried by digital downloads.
Hi! What is Chromatica’s updated pure sales number? The 680k one is from December 2020 and it had its vinyl release since then with ma any re-entries WW.
