Of course she is regarded as the "top" performer by her own fans. How could it be differently? LOL
Regarding to "critics",
Firstly, they are just normal music consumers like you and me with a personal taste, no more and no less.
Secondly, in many if not most cases they don't have any qualification through a certified degree (e.g. musicology) in order to make professional judgments about music for the general public.
Thirdly, the majority – which this is proven by every artists' EAS data listed here – don't give a damn what critics think. An example: during their active time, Queen was described by critics as inflated, pathetic and therefore, culturally worthless. That hasn't stopped potential record buyers from making them the fourth most successful artists of all time.
To come back to MJD's request regarding the way things are handled here, my argument presented here is in no way intended to insult any users, fans or even artists.
Hello admins. Just wanted to bring to your attention that some Beyoncé collaborations are missing from her streaming/single totals, namely “Pink + White” by Frank Ocean, and “Sorry not Sorry” by DJ Khaled, both hidden features in the same vein with the Coldplay song.

Hello admins. I have a few short questions that I would like answered if possible.
1) How would you classify the success of her latest album cycle Renaissance? So far it's sold significantly less than Lemonade (her last studio album), but more than her last actual albums, so I'm not sure where to place it in her discography.
2) I feel as though her streaming popularity has taken a big hit in the past few years. Am I mistaken? She's amongst the top 40 all-time artists on Spotify, but she's the 2nd lowest current performer in that range. What can we as fans, and Beyonce herself, do to help rectify this?
it's outselling lemonade in the same period because of Spotify release which the latter lacked. It should outsell it by next album cycles...
Beyonce's Billboard 200 entries, ranked by weeks in top 10:
1. 18, Lemonade
2. 17, I Am...Sasha Fierce
3. 14, RENAISSANCE
4. 13, Dangerously In Love
5. 12, BEYONCÉ
6. 10, 4
7. 9, B'Day
8. 3, HOMECOMING: THE LIVE ALBUM
9. 2, The Lion King: The Gift (Soundtrack)
10. 1, More Only (EP)
Total: 99 weeks
Destiny's Child achievement has been an integral part of Beyonce's career
i think chartmaster should unify the rules and treat Beyonce the same way treated cher and george
Hi quiet storm!
Treating different cases as if they were the same wouldn't be a "unified" model, rather the opposite! I already answered in-depth to these distinct situations.
100M+!!! Congratulations to a true artist still doing amazing after 27 years in the industry. Hope Cowboy Carter will perform well.
