What is “Orphans”? Internet search doesn’t turn up anything.

Are their streams from their aging fan base or are they actually reaching a new generation( s) of fans ?

I could be wrong but considering the age demographics, I’d say it is more to do with new generations finding and appreciating their music. A survey in March 2018 indicated the following age breakdown for Spotify users in the U.S.: 26% 18-24-year-olds 29% 25-34-year-olds 16% 35-44-year-olds 11% 45-54-year-olds 19% 55 and older Given that CCR split in 1972, 46 years ago, only the 55 and older group could technically be classed as “ageing fans” and they only contribute 19% of all users. ‘Aging’ is such a derogatory term. As mentioned, I don’t think it applies with Spotify. They’re streaming numbers are massive.
