#5 EMINEM – 147,086,000
Here comes the biggest artist that first emerged in the last 20 years. Eminem has been so huge since his breakthrough that even his flop albums like Relapse are still big. The Marshall Mathers LP was huge at nearly 30 million overall equivalent album sales, but it would be a huge mistake to believe it was well over the par for the artist standards as 6 out of his 8 albums are at 12 million or more. After that few albums, he is now truly getting in the wheels of all-time A-List of mega sellers.

Eminem is the music industry Lebron James. For one decade and a half, he hasn’t only been the biggest artist, he has also been an incredible all around performer. The only act featuring inside the Top 10 of all five categories, Eminem emerged during the physical singles era, destroyed the competition in downloads and is now untouchable in streaming. His last album is from three years ago, before streaming explosion, but he still challenges the likes Rihanna and Justin Bieber who are busy dropping hits after hits. If tomorrow all artists stop issuing music, Eminem catalog would clearly be the one going the strongest out of all, Beatles and Michael Jackson included.
