The 'Wonder' era demoted him big time. He's no longer on the same level as the other top male stars of the day like Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, etc. His stand-alone singles after the album also failed to become truly big. I think he's finished. Not talented enough to have a credible career as a more indie auteur type of artist either. Best to diversify into acting or TV hosting or something, which he already seems to be doing.
