No it's not a "well known thing" that Load and Reload aren't metal, it's a well known thing that they are a mix of metal and hard rock. Your main argument seems to be that they were influenced by Alice In Chains, does that mean you don't think AIC is a metal band ?
The Seattle sound was an alternative rock that mixed a little bit of everything, difficult to give it a precise label. In Load and Reload I also hear echoes of Nick Cave or Rolling Stones in some parts.
Very difficult for me to give Load and Relod a metal stamp compared to Dr. Feelgood or Pyromania, either they are all or none are.
How far are the positions 5-6-7-8-9 in terms of copies sold and also annual catalog copies?
I'd have to look it up but 5-6-7 are quite far from each other, Load must be close to Limp Bizkit but its catalog sales are obviously not that great...
For every album by Metallica there is a higher sales. Even black album is now at 35 million.
The Guns, considering the small discography, have been more successful than Metallica in proportion
Plese fix The album : ?And justice for all - on ...And justice for all. Thanx
Why did Metallica's total change? now reports that they are with 163,879,000 EAS and with 11,695,000 streams, while doing the total calculation they should be around 165,000,000 and with around 13,136,000 streams why is there this difference? I hope you answer me
exactly I think like you, I believe and hope that the CSPC article will be updated, they are one of the few big bands still active that will release a new studio album in April and then they have impressive numbers regarding streaming thanks to their 13,372,000 streams.
I write it here too :
I think there is an error for Metallica’s streams, we know that at the moment they have an average of 8000 streams per day for all their albums, as of January 27th it reported 165,555,000 EAS, now instead at the last update on February 3rd it reports 165,586,.000 EAS so the average of 5,000 streams, I don’t think that in just one week the average dropped by 3,000 streams per day.
I await your reply.
I’ve read how in the last 40 years Metallica have sold more tickets than Bon Jovi, is it just because they have more concerts under their belt? On individual tours Bon Jovi had more success, is that correct?
