What is the time that needs to pass, in order for someone to win?
I see R.E.M won 10 days ago, how long until we get a new winner?
also crazy how I was looking at BigBang being inside the top 20 and now they are out?! :((
It depends on the complexity of the article I think. And how many other small artists that are being worked on. Usually he does one big one every 1-2 months though alongside many other smaller articles .
Hi Rev8!
As Fanofpop says it depends on the time spent on the artist. Apart from CSPCs there are many tasks requiring time as well (admin, new developments, etc). For R.E.M. I'm expecting them to be published some time this month!
BigBang were among those who were charted high thanks to fake votes sadly.
I would like to suggest great rock icons like Jethro Tull, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Rush, Hendrix, The Who, King Crimson, Grand Funk Railroad, Bad Company, Status Quo, Focus, besides metal acts like Megadeth, Slayer, Sepultura, Judas Priest, Def Leppard. It would be interesting.
Helloween, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Mr.Big, Manowar, Anthrax, Testament, Europe, Roxette, Hammerfall, Edguy, Alice Cooper, Belinda Carlisle, Samantha Fox, Sandra, The Corrs, Doro, Kim Wilde, Nena, Accept, Extreme, Cinderella, Steelheart... please acces list.
Tina turner deserves her article. She was pioneer of female stadium touring to begin with and how she revived her career in 80's and the global success she had as a woman of color was out of world. When her numbers were even better outside usa. Her tour grosses might not look big today, but inflation and how she sold out million of tickets remains impressive till to this day!
Jimi Hendrix deserves a CSPC article. He is one of the greatest guitarists of all time.
Oh snap, 2pac and Hendrix ex aequo 😆 One argument for 2pac is that his discography is much shorter (25 albums vs. 70 for Hendrix) and also more recent, so I assume his article would be done much more quickly.
He is greatest guitarist of all time (Rolling Stone) and one of most important artist (Rolling Stone no 5). He was amazing talent.
2pac deserves a CSPC article. He is a legendary rapper. He's like the 90's version of 50 cent. Biggie has one but not 2pac.2pac deserves one.
Do Puff Daddy, Nelly, Electric Light Orchestra, Susan Boyle or Leona Lewis meet any of the criteria?
Please consider putting HEART into the 50 million league table. They've sold over 40 million albums. 1m physical singles in UK. 1985-90 massive selling singles in the USA and Canada particularly. Must top 50m surely?
