Because she’s guaranteed to get an update at some point regardless of whether anyone votes for her. Same for Beyoncé tbh. It’s a better use of your votes to boost an artist that isn’t active/popular anymore or was last covered a long time ago. Think Britney, Whitney, Madonna, MJ, etc.
I think people are getting annoyed because they want us to vote for our favourite artist and get them to number 1 but then update people who don't go number 1

When I checked it (before PJ were posted as Anthony was dealing with his part) the Carpenters were ahead and I went on estimating them. I'm always done with their pure sales so we will post them next, and follow with Foreigner!

@andrewmark I'm planning to work on him during the summer to post it once the 2025 kicks (at the start of November). If feels long away but there's still plenty of work to do on it anyway.

Do yall plan to update some of the strength categories based on the new sales estimates? For example, it seems like George Strait and Lynyrd Skynyrd deserve to be bumped up to 4 and 3 respectively based on their current posted CSPC projections
Didn't though about that, but that makes sense! Existing values were made on the back of raw expectations, the new numbers are much thiner already although not perfect obviously. Once I'm done going through all artists from the voting list I'll adjust these ratios!
