Radiohead would appear to be one of those artists whose profile/influence outweigh their commercial performance. You could probably also place the Sex Pistols and The Velvet Underground in the same category.

It would be interesting to have been able to see an analysis of all three but unfortunately not possible under the current thresholds/criteria. I do appreciate why the reasons for these decisions though. You have to put the boundaries somewhere.

About 2 years ago MJD said Radiohead were "very close to be at 50 million, or even possibly slightly over the mark." Considering they sold maybe 5m EAS since then I think they should be included in the list.

i consider that albums that have absolute dominance in a single territory should have a detailed description of what happened at the time. i always enjoy reading the articles of celine dion’s deux because of how detailed the comments about its chart run are. albums like first love by hikaru utada deserve to have a description like that. my suggestion 🙏
