Looks like no data is showing up for most streamed albums. Is this happening for anyone else?
Maybe one of the many people upset at the removal of album breakdowns just hacked the site 😆
Last day's streams for the top 200 albums :
Taylor Swift - Midnights 17.8m
Bad Bunny - Un Verano Sin Ti 13.9m
The Weeknd - Starboy 11.8m
Linkin Park - Meteora 11.5m
SZA - SOS 11.4m
Taylor Swift - Lover 10.4m
Harry Styles - Harry's House 9.3m
Taylor Swift - 1989 8.8m
Taylor Swift - Folklore 7.8m
Taylor Swift - Reputation 7.2m
Why can’t we get the album breakdown back? It was the best part of this site. I’ve been logging in daily since 2020. It was my favorite part of it
Maybe haha, I do miss that tool. And Thanks! It is crazy how Taylor has so many albums in the top ten
Are these 2 albums eligible?
- James Blunt - Moon Landing (Special Apollo Edition)
- Eyedress - Let's Skip To The Wedding
For some reason, right now I'm only seeing 1940s albums in the list of most streamed albums. Frank Sinatra, Bing Cosby, Judy Garland... and I'm not using any Year filters or any other filters.
No data available in this table? website been going downhill this year ngl
Better than nothing :
Taylor Swift - Midnights 13.6m
Bad Bunny - Un Verano Sin Ti 12.2m
The Weeknd - Starboy 10.6m
SZA - SOS 10m
Taylor Swift - Lover 9.8m
Harry Styles - Harry's House 8.5m
Taylor Swift - 1989 8m
Taylor Swift - folklore 7.2m
Arctic Monkeys - AM 6.4m
Taylor Swift - reputation 6.2m
The Weeknd - After Hours 6.2m
Olivia Rodrigo - SOUR 6.1m
Post Malone - Hollywood's Bleeding 5.5m
Lana Del Rey - Born To Die 5.5m
Taylor Swift - Red 5m
I suppose you know this but this chart and most streamed artists has not updated for about three days now, as of June 21, 2023.
I just realized that Lana's Born To Die is closing in on the top 50 most streamed albums ever, so I checked other "classic" (>10 years old) albums, and here's the top 10 :
Bruno Mars - Doo-Wops & Hooligans 6.4b (4.4m daily)
Imagine Dragons - Night Visions 6b (3m)
Adele - 21 5.7b (4m)
Eminem - The Eminem Show 5.6b (4m)
Lana Del Rey - Born To Die 5.5b (6m)
Bruno Mars - Unorthodox Jukebox 4.7b (3m)
Nirvana - Nevermind 4.6b (3m)
Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city 4.4b (3m)
Katy Perry - Teenage Dream 4.3b (3m)
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours 4.2b (3m)
Just to be clear, I removed 1b from Katy's album because of the 2012 reissue, and of course I didn't combine Lady Gaga's TF and TFM.
Piece by piece by Kelly clarkson is at 495 million only saying because I saw a Mariah album on here that was close to 500M as well ♥️
Kworb to the rescue :
Taylor Swift - Midnights 17m
Bad Bunny - Un Verano Sin Ti 13m
Taylor Swift - Lover 12m
The Weeknd - Starboy 11m
SZA - SOS 11m
Taylor Swift - 1989 10m
Harry Styles - Harry's House 9m
Taylor Swift - Folklore 8m
Taylor Swift - Reputation 8m
Arctic Monkeys - AM 7m
The Weeknd - After Hours 7m
Olivia Rodrigo - Sour 7m
Taylor Swift - Red 6m
Post Malone - Hollywood's Bleeding 6m
Lana Del Rey - Born To Die 6m
From the discussion on the github for the sp-playcount-librespot bug reports:
"I think Spotify finally killed support for this mercury endpoint."
This implies that a lot of people are going to have to re-write their Spotify playcount clients. This probably includes chartmasters. I notice there is another site that already appears to have more up-to-date streaming data than chartmasters (data updated 2023/06/24).

So kworb is using a different code then because they aren’t having any issues?
