OR you can think of it as wanting to celebrate female artists specifically. I mean, it would be a lot worse imo if they only wanted to see the list of male artists.
Celebrating!? in my opinion, based on around 20 years of activity on music sales/charts forums, sites etc it is not about celebrating females, it is about getting one up on other female artists, putting down other female artists, degrading other female artists etc etc etc.
The thing is though, no one asks for male only lists, band only lists etc, it's only female only lists, that are asked for. People to tend to look at male solo artists and bands in the wider perspective of overall sales in general with no call for them to be listed by their sex.
Gurl, most, if not all, the users who enter this site are gays who stan only women and don't give af about male artists. It's not about pitting women against each other it's more like only caring about female artists.

Gay men have their divas
Women have their boybands
It's total generalisation, but you get the point. Fanatical behaviour is everywhere you just gotta know where to find it.

You've not even misinterpreted what I wrote, you've completely reinvented it, to suggest I was saying, "gay men in general, are the only crazy people".
In my opinion, I was stating the bloody obvious! Prachi asked why the hate and I felt I gave her a pretty straight forward and to the point answer, based on what I believe is the truth. If you or others want to attach deeper or completely new meaning to what I've actually said, then that's coming from you, not me.
