Just today:
Taylor swift becomes the first artist in history to simultaneously chart ten albums on the Billboard 200 on four occasions, breaking a tie with Prince and The Beatles
Lover has become a romance classic. It underperformed because of bad singles but over the years, it has become her biggest catalog. It will become 20 million seller in like five years at this point.
Next week Taylor is projected to have three different albums and three different songs from three different albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 respectively.
"The Eras Tour" is expected to became the most grossing of all time with almost 1.5 billion dollars . She has outdone herself once again .
Taylor on her 35th birthday: Billionaire status, 200 Million CSPC club, 2 Billion $+ gross combining all tours, 12 or more Grammys. Very sweet career.
And gross more than 1,2 Billion $ from a single world tour (131 dates) and people go outside of stadiums to see her because the demand is so big. Ticketmaster crashes. politicans asked her to come to their countries because she is a significant factor for the economy.
20 date? Why not 50?
You realise those 1 million people that wanted to buy her ticket in Paris are on fact several accounts used by each person to secure tickets?
Each swiftie has multiple devices connected which make her demand seem much bigger than it is.
She could sell out 3 dates at stade de France MAX.
225k tickets sold in a market where she hasn't broken into? Truly the biggest popstar ever and it seems like you agree! Talk about insane cultural impact
Hi! Can someone explain how Wildest Dreams has a lead over Style by more than 1M overall EAS? Style has sold more digital singles and Wildest Dreams only has 500K more streaming EAS.
The constant moving of goalposts. First it's nobody knows Taylor in France, and then it's Taylor is known but can't tour in France, and then it's Taylor won't be able to sell out in France, and now it's Taylor can ONLY sell 3 dates at stade de France. Do you know how many acts have sold out 3 nights in a row at Stade de Paris? Only one, Coldplay. Taylor will perform more dates in France on the eras tour than MJ ever has on a single tour.
The 160k potential capacity at La Defense's 4 shows and 120k potential capacity at Groupama stomp any of MJ's attendance numbers, of which HIStory didn't even sell out in France.
How will you move the goalposts again?
"Around 170,000 tickets for three concerts in a row: that's a Vienna record. Anyone who had pre-registered by June 23, with a bit of luck, was selected on Tuesday to be allowed to buy a ticket for the three dates on August 8, 9 and 10, 2024. Up to the last second, attempts were made via social networks to Swap or sell presale codes – although it wasn't even clear if that's possible."
As being reported by local Austrian news, apparently she is unknown in Europe though
What a great update! Almost all her albums have gained either a million or a few hundred thousand units compared to the last update. It's impressive to see how she rebounded this decade with her sales, streams and chart success as she gets more and more appeal to the new generation and especially since she is currently touring. Although I don't see anyone who's had the same touring boost as she does! Atleast not anyone that I know of
