Your question is about the release of an album at this time, not more than 10 years ago. 10 years ago Taylor didn't stand a chance, now the roles are reversed. Based on your interactions here, you clearly believe Taylor can't beat Adele, so why even bother asking the question...
I mean to be honest Martin, your unhinged reactions, doxxing me now twice, would make the banning totally worth it.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but is doxxing not, searching for and publishing private information on the internet, with malicious intent. I respond through Wordpress, where your email address is listed beside all your answers and your email address is your name. So no searching for anything and the fact that your name is your email address, means it is hardly private info and I'm sorry but since when was calling someone by their name, deemed malicious...and you have the cheek to call my reactions unhinged! I suggest you have a look in the mirror.
No, but seriously, the next full update will add no less than 10 million pure copies to her full account. That's insane... She's already one of top 10 all-time artists.
I think TTPD's pure sales is from Lover . Fix it , please .
TTPD — 3,050,982 (2,134,612 pure) .
Billboard reports pure sales :
1 week - 1.914.000
2 week - 107.000 (2.021.000 to date )
Lover — 7,394,196 (2,134,612)
12.3m units last October, I doubt the album has earned almost 2 million with the TV release.
Taylor Swift's '1989 (Taylor's Version)': 9 Key Numbers (billboard.com)
Luminate probably used /1500 for free and paid streams like RIAA whereas uses /1250 for paid and /3750 for free, which disproportionally hurts albums like Red and 1989 with lots of free youtube streams.
It seems unlikely Luminate would include UGC
HDD just said Taylor has passed 220m global album units.Interesting to see the difference of number
"Taylor's catalog represents 220m+ copies worldwide, with 37m for all-time champ 1989 (plus 8m for Taylor's Version), 30m for the original Fearless (7m for TV), a pretty even split on versions of Red totaling almost 30m and 17m+ for Midnights."
Hi, just wondering when we can expect the next update here? Or if there will be an update since her latest album at all?
Hdd numbers kinda inflate with equal weightage of video streams with audio. So I find chartmasters more accurate and close to actual numbers.
So, If Taylor beats Madonna discography can we call her Queen of Pop cuz 60-65% of her Album are pop!
You can buy Taylor is more of singer songwriter legend that Madonna who revolutionized pop. So both have their hallmarks
CAUSE cm hasn't updated taylor‘s pure sales which will add about 10 million copies
Hdd claims her sales at 220 million plus. Chartmasters must be around 215 million. So actual stat by label will be around hdd number. But hdd use video streams on same value with audio streams. Which imo isn't the right way to do so. Cm update will be more accurate
Four million eas in usa alone in five weeks. 7 million around world? Pure must be around 3.5 million plus already. With seven months to go. Must end up as her biggest album in one calendar year.
She is huge in the US but non-existent in Europe. Or does anyone know how 1989, Midnights and TTPD did in Europe?
She has had zero songs that went 1 on over 20 countries...

I've been wondering for a while if that's fair to compare today's artists performances with artists from the pre internet era. I mean today's technologies allow you to place 10 songs in the top 10 which was simply not possible in the 90's ! and after people are going to say that TW is more successful than MJ or Madonna because she has that kind of records...that were simply not possible to achieve in the 80s or 90s. I see something unfair here.
