The total numbers for Speak Now seems off. By adding up each section, The sales will be 17,245,000 instead of 16,165,000. Maybe the Taylor's Version sale hasn't been added to the total numbers yet?
She has 10 albums in top 40 billboard this week. Beat midnights debut week sales kn America. I don't think any solo artist ever dominated billboard like this. What a generational artist with timeless catalog. Taylor is insane. Biggest female artist ever in America in absolute terms and will become biggest worldwide. 1989 tv even outpeaking original 1989 globally. Just crazy. I don't think any female artist ever has such catalog where every album keeps selling even after all these years.

It's was long debated here whether Taylor would ever pass Mariah and now it's done at last.
Crazy part she touched 100 million career sales early in 2021 and now she is going to reach 200 million by early 2024. Doubling her career sales in three years. Folklore and red tv has taken her career to next level, because lover was thought to be Underperformance in streaming back then. But now it is her pop catalog staple.
For comparison I believe Madonna was selling about 1.5m albums per year of her catalog (not including new albums) 20 years into her career. Soundscan (US):

Taylor's pure sales stand at close to 75 million ( Chinese sales are pure sales and only thing I disagree with chartmasters ). And billboard reported she moves around 2.2 to 2.8 million pure in catalog. With vinyls expansion, I can see her reaching legendary 100 million pure sales marks in less than decade which will make her success across all formats legendary! Now we can argue some kpop groups might reach there first. But Taylor will be first western artist who debuted this century to do so.
I am not sure about downloads being pure sales, I can see Chartmasters view on this, but then again they cost like normal albums in China so idk? Maybe they should be counted as pure.
According to HDD, Taylor has moved around 14.7M album units in the USA so far this year which includes the first week of 1989 TV. With two months left, it's pretty safe that she will do at least 16M throughout entire 2023. If we consider her US stats represent 50% of her global stats then Taylor will move at least 32M album units which eventually ends up as the biggest calendar year for any artist since Michael Jackson in 80s (someone correct me please).
2024 will be more insane considering she has another two more re-records to be released + The Eras Tour will start its Europe, Asia, Oceania and LATAM dates + possible another new album.
November 3rd last year update: She now records well over a million sales per month, in quiet periods. What about the total to date though? Taylor Swift adds for 133.13 million equivalent album sales.
Today she stands at 178 Million CSPC.
So it sold 1359000 pure in USA first week overtaking oops. Now what r her pure sales? 1.9 million excluding Chinese sales! Wow she overtook midnights with a tv of decade old album. Ts11 gonna be bloodbath
Republic reports 3.5 million globally ( guess Chinese sales included?). Cm reported 25 million without Chinese sales I guess? Midnights numbers by republic and chartmasters were close. This time it is big of difference. Any reason?
