It's just about streaming and not net sales that's the difference.

I am very excited for the great humbling to come that is "Midnights." I predict a pre-order frontload that will stabilize at ~4M by year end. What do you guys think?

Yes . I think 4M EAS by the end of this year , inc. pure sales . Maybe 5M if she had some hits from this album .

Dua Lipa is sexiest and most beautiful female singer right now. Taylor Swift is second. Madonna and Britney already look old.
I don't know any T. Swift song.

While I agree with you, it should never be about sex and only the music, it's clear that millions of girls seem to base their love of a boy band on their looks, as much, if not more so than the music.

Personally, I've found various female artists attractive but it's never influenced my appreciation of their music. I always thought some of Girls Aloud were sexy, especially Cheryl but I never once contemplated buying their music, seeing them live etc.

See e.g female backup singers for Leonard Cohen and Bryan Ferry.
Lots of young fit mimmies.
Expect that Cohen died in 2016, but i think that he still sings about perfect body.

Her trend has been downwards for her last four albums now (though Folklore has a chance to reverse some of it), so it would be a surprise if her new album would outsell 30. Let's wait and see!

I disagree with you. Music has always comes first for female or boyband fans. I mean I love Britney & Backstreet Boys. Not because they are hot, but because of their music first and foremost, the fact that they were hot back then certainly helps but not the main reason. There are plenty of other pretty girls, Destiny's Child, Spice Girls, Jessica Simpson, Christina Aguilera or on the men's side N'sync, Boyz 2 Men who I could care less even though they were all hot back then. I just cant connect to their music. And I certainly don't favor Britney over Christina because to my eyes Britney is prettier. I just couldn't connect to majority of Christina songs bar a few.

I also think you seems to be very critical of female singers especially the pop singers, boybands and so on and their fanbase. It's a bit annoying how rock fanbase have a tendency to ridicule the pop fanbase or just pop music in general when the pop fans never really care what happen with rock bands.

Looks clearly play a big part in it, why else would record companies, management companies etc put together attractive young guys for boy bands. While beauty is subjective, I can't recall too many ugly boy bands. So for me it appears that looks are as important as the music,

I can be very critical of all kinds of artists, it's just that female singers always take up the majority of comments on all music sales and chart sites, so obviously I comment on them perhaps more often than other types of artists. I agree some rock fans can look down their nose at pop, female artists, boy bands etc and act like music snobs, but some of the behaviour amongst fans of female singers is equally tedious and tiresome.

If that is the case then how come somebody who was ridiculed for having crooked nose like Barbra Streisand became one of the best selling artist ever. I am not denying that looks played a part. But a big part? How many beautiful and sexy looking women have tried desperately to make it big in the industry but never did achieved anything? If its all about looks than Streisand wouldn't have made it and Jessica Simpson would be selling a lot more than her. At the end of the day it is the music that matters the most. If really looks matter so much more than music. Then I bet plenty of Broadway/Cassical singers would have made it big because there are plenty of beautiful girls singing Broadway/Classical music. Some even received heavy push like Lara Fabian and she was really2 beautiful back then. With her voice, face, heavy promotions back then she should have made it big by your logic. But she didn't because she was singing boring classical music at a time when people are moving on to teen pop. Her music was outdated, in other words music do matters to women.

Yes, but that is between pop fans and pop fans. I find most of them annoying too. Why would you want to add fuel to the fire? Honestly if there is a big huge fan wars with Queen or I dont know Rolling Stones or U2. No matter how annoying it is, I couldn't care less, because I am not a fan of them. Why would u always creep in every now and then? Seems like you are just no different than majority of the pop female singer fans.
