Midnights has sold over 400k pre orders already in the US, and will be her biggest debut in the UK.
This can be her biggest debut in her career, both in the US and WW. I love how she keeps outdoing herself.
07/27/2022 - 122.86M
10/11/2022 - 125.97M (+3.11M)
It's so crazy to think that she gained like 3.1M EAS within two and half months, and her Spotify daily streams now have increased to 33M-36M. And now Midnight is predicted to have like 1.5M-2.0M EAS during release week, so yeah Taylor is coming real hard. Her momentum is getting stronger and we are still having another remaining four rerecords to be released. Considering all circumstances, it's obviously not a delusional thinking that she kinda 'sealed' her place as second biggest female artist of all time only behind Madonna. Just do the math.
Midnights will easily catapult her above 130m. 400k sales in China already, poised to be one of the biggest western albums since the rule change (if not the biggest)
Midnights has 184m first day streams! And I bet she has crossed over 210m right now
I could even say she surpassed 230m with this album only about 12 hours after the first day
Oh welp I guess she will beat my prediction, it seems Midnight will have a gigantic debut. It will be doing like 1.5M EAS in the USA, 550k-600k digital copies in China. Worldwide it will be 2.5M EAS at least. More to come.....

38.4 million soundscan album sales!
Midnights is already over half a million EAS just from 3 days of streaming! I think Evermore is one of her best albums so it pains me to say this but Midnights could surpass it within a year once physical copies are added. Does it overtake Folklore and Lover at some point as well? I don't think anything that comes out at this point will touch the first six since they are so far ahead and the TV rereleases will add to their numbers as well.
I mean it'll pass evermore in November, it's probably on track for 3m in the first week. (1.5m US and 550k china, 175k+ UK alone). Streams have been holding up really well, it's sunday drop especially was much lower than her other releases, and the album will probably have good stability bc radio is really picking it up + tik tok virality. It's early but I'd wager it'll easily pass her more recent projects, passing Fearless/Red/1989 would be far down the road.
If Taylor Swift's Midnights album Is breaking sales and streaming records, It's a sign that this album Is good enough to get it
999.000 EAS on streaming in first 7 days !:
236k+151k+128k+137k+125k+115k+107k .
Can you update her digital song sales and physical album sales? I think her digital downloads are to low for all of her album eras but especially for reputation, lover, folklore, evermore and the rerecordings, since almost all of them have platinum or multi platinum certifications in the US alone. Can you also add Midnights? That´d be nice and a little bit more realistic.
It's already realistic ! After 1989 era digital sales in all industry breaking down and streaming became the major indicator of artists popularity .
"Midnights" has the biggest pure album sales in first week since her "Reputation" with 1,14 million copies in the USA!

Hello! Do you have any predictions for IFPI? Can we expect Taylor topping any list?
Thanks.
insane results, efffectively has eight 10 million sellers in the bag and Midnights sure to hit it in time
You were right about Midnights passing Evermore faster than I thought it would. Still don't think that Evermore gets enough love, but what a release for Midnights!
The wording should be slightly updated as Taylor is already almost 33 (not 'barely 32').
She truly become global with streaming. The way she is charting at top in her weak markets. Surely 1989 was huge globally but still most of it's sales came from USA. But streaming has taken her success to other level and she has penetrated markets where she was never huge. She simply looks poised to be second best seller female of all time. Topping madonna is possible if she keeps the run going when she hits 40 or so. Her fanbase is still in 20s with purchasing power Now. Now the impact of two women can't be compared as madonna wasn't rich daddy's girl as she was self made nor made safe music and took risks and revolutionized things for LGBT community. That can't be ever topped by someone singing shake it off Or about romeos.
There seems to be a discrepancy between Billboard's published pure sales figure for Midnights and what you have indicated in your table. It sold 1.14M in its first week and is projected to sell ~110k second week. Both combined wouldn't add to 1.4M as you have reported.
