Is Barbara over 100 million? I guess she will become that in 2024 if Barbara has sold that much
Oh I forgot about Barbra, 89m albums + ~20m singles (6m EAS) + insignificant digital sales/streaming = less than 100m, and Taylor is a little above 100m I think, maybe she passed Barbra around the time she was named Person of the Year 😎
1989 tv sold 136000 in USA this week. Tv alone worldwide must be alone over 4 million plus I wonder how much all of her tvs sold so far. Red tv must be nearing 10 million and will be first one. Insane. And at this point she will have five diamond albums in future atleast.

Crazy part is that if she manages another 40-45 million year next year, her total will be around 225 to 230 million, which I think she will with further touring and two releases ( either both tvs Or studio alone like 2022 ). She is busy recording at 2 am. The work ethic is real and why not? Her career is at peak.. Even I doubt she herself will ever top 2023 -2024 peak. Create the valuable catalog for generations.. Though she will keep selling tens of millions in catalog.
2025 if we assume silent year, she will catch up madonna by end of that year. Even as fan I never imagined this to happen this quick. By 2021, we were discussion she will overtake whitney mariah at end of decade. And this peak happened. Just crazy. She keeps selling pure salses too in this day and age. The all format dominance is real.
I just noticed the pure sales are automatically updating but these updates are not translating to the totals calculations.
For instance in the Pure Sales updated section folklore has 3.1m sales, whereas in the totals breakdown at the end of the article the table displays 2.952m
So this year really had a value of 45 Million CSPC for Taylor. Let‘s just say she repeats this with her ongoing tour (85 dates) and 2 more releases in 2024. An unreal total of 90 Million CSPC created in the span of 2 years.
To put it in perspective, 90 Million CSPC are
21% of the Beatles catalog
26% of Michael Jackson‘s solo career
36% of Madonna‘s 40 year long career
Only 10 Million CSPC less than Ed Sheeran‘s and Justin Bieber’s careers

For older albums, technically it was Born in the USA although it's somewhat debatable as Thriller did 78+5+8, through original, 25th year reissue, and passing boosts, but the last two runs were excluded from the BB200 chart because at the time catalog albums weren't allowed.
Anyway, Wallen's Dangerous easily smashed these totals. I've lost count of its weeks top 10, but these were over 120 IIRC.

Very well spotted. I checked the code and fixed a couple of errors. Taylor just keeps winning, as it appears she is already on 187m instead of 184.8m!
I wonder how many pure albums she sold worldwide in 2023 excluding Chinese downloads. 7 million? Very good amount
On January 2020 she had i think like 87 Million CSPC units. Now 187 Million. 100 Million gained in the 2020s decade. And still 6 years to go and bigger than ever.
I do remember when she was just right above Rihanna and Coldplay, now it feels impossible for either of them to catch up just 2 years later
Anyone haas individual totals for every album this year ? Thnx in advance. I know midnights sold over 7.5 million in 2023 and lover nearly 5.5 million
