The Fame shipped 4,9 million units in the US (the EP is certified on its own) and its singles sold over 35 million downloads. The album has 1,4 billion streams on Spotify (132/212 of the market) and 4,3 billion on YouTube. Around 20% come from the US at the moment for the latter, likely about a third for audio streams.
Doing the math:
- 4,900,000 (album)
- 3,500,000 (downloads)
- 500,000 (audio streams = 1,2b * 212/132 * 1/3 /1500)
- 575,000 (video streams = 4,4b * 0,2 /1500)
= close to 9,5 million.
Hello I always wanted to know what were the Pure & EAS sales to The Fame Monster Standalone EP? And will they be added seperately to Gaga’s CSPC? If not, what is the Reason? Thank you

The standalone EP is already listed on page 15. It's EAS generated units are added to The Fame since that's how most charts providers acted and since expanded editions of tons of 00s albums are treated exactly the same way (Usher, Rihanna, Katy, etc). It isn't because a reissue happens to be more successful than they usually are that we need to create new rules, it's key to remain consistent with the methodology.
How do you think 'A Star is Born' is gonna impact gaga's sale figures? Could the soundtrack become gaga's best-selling album after The Fame (Monster)? Thanks for your work!
why are TF+TFM sales in the US 4,9M combined when Billboard reported multiple time that TFM sold 1.7M and The Fame 4.9M?

A pair of years ago when Joanne was released I said she may rebound sooner or later. Basically, the backlash she suffered after the general public felt she went too far into her extravaganza style was vanishing. By the look of it, that time has now come and the fact ASIB shows her on a much more natural, make up-less image no doubts helps tremendously.
I do expect wonders for this album. Aiming for it to become her 2nd biggest album may be a bit too ambitious considering BTW still sold an awful lot, but ASIB will definitely add many millions to her total to date!

The Fame + TFM sold 4,9 million in the US, then the stand-alone EP Monster did 1,7 million. That one is present among the compilations' section, page 15.

Well, it is obviously doing very well and will continue so for several months - at least until the DVD/BluRay release of the movie. The good think with these successes is that she has already a large back catalog, so for every unit she will gain with the soundtrack she will add some pieces to her previous songs thanks to the current hype!

It will depend on upcoming singles! It will do over 5 million on the back of the current traction / Swallow only. Anything sustaining it further in the future will push it even higher.
People on Twitter thinks that what makes an artists a bigger seller are the records sold (album + single sales combined) but they both don’t have the same weight ($9,99-18 for albums and $1,29 for singles) that’s why CSPC exists to equate singles conveting them into albums with a 0,15 ratio. Can you confirm it?

These people don't care much about the reality, they just want to present things in the most misleading way to make the success of their favorite artist look better. That's why they say "according to @chartmastersorg" rather than sharing the table, because the table makes it very clear that what matters is CSPC / EDS rather than unweighted "records sold".

How isn't she a big seller? She sold 87 million EAS as of the last update, the highest number of any act that debuted this millennim. What doesn't make sense is claiming that she is the "second best selling female artist of all-time" because of unweighted sales. If these people don't want to weight appropriately formats, then they should completely ignore streams too as by definition they are weighted "records" sold. It's just too easy to change definitions to get results fitting better with our personal wishes.
do you still think A Star Is Born Soundtrack will reach at least 5m CSPC? I think it could be at +2m by the end of 2018 alone. What a huge comeback !

Yes, it's the good thing with streaming, it's very linear so it will continue to climb well throughout the months!
