If we combine Baby one more time and oops , result will be opposite. Monster was a new album altogether. U all know this
Britney's peak, celebrity was pop culture definition

Born This Way initially did well but quickly lost hype, it debuted with 1m copies and didn't evn stay in the top200 for 60 weeks. such a shame tho it's a way better album than the fame.

Lol. Wrong. The Fame/Fame Monster era was slightly bigger. That’s 2 records compared to Britney’s 1. The Fame is a LP, and The Fame Monster is an EP. They were not released at the same time, nor were they released as a disc set. They were released over a year apart, as 2 different albums, and with each having separate track listings. They were 2 different eras. The fame signified the glamorous side of fame, and the fame monster signified the dark side of fame. Regardless Britney outsold Gaga in albums 2 to 1. Britney is still the most successful female artist in the last 25 years.

Rihanna and Taylor are virtually ahead of Britney even though they hadn't surpassed her yet but it's innevitable at this point seeing how their catalogs are performing in comparison to britney's and how small of a gap she has over them

Taylor possibly; Rihanna I’m not so sure. No shade. It just seems like Rihanna might be done with music, and more focused on her cosmetics stuff. With all of the attention that Britney has right now; if she were to release an album it has the potential to really take off. We’ll see what happens. It’s hard to tell what she’ll do; she’s never taken this much time off between album cycles.

even if she releases nothing she'll still surpass britney, her catalog is selling 4 times faster than britney's and she's only 6m EAS away

They’ve been saying that for years, and it’s yet to happen. Only time will tell. Like I said; Britney has the attention and support that if she does decide to release an album; it’ll be big. With all the cship controversy the elements are there for her to succeed. Britney will not retire so it’s not as if her sales are going to come to a screeching halt. I’m not saying it won’t happen. It all depends on Britney herself. Let’s not forget that Britney’s ASR is nearly 100 points higher than both of them. The recipe for success is there if she wants it.

Lady gaga had multiple versions of physical editions too .. it’s not like Taylor is only getting sales from physical editions when her streams were 10 times higher than chromatica on debut week . Moreover gaga used tour-ticket redemption offer and folklore’s versions couldn’t have given her 600k pure anyway..cuz they were exclusively limited and were for alternative covers options not sold as package or anything.. chromatica had 2 big collabs out of which it’s re current streams or even debut streams are just outright bad .. out of 270k it did 200k are pure sales aided by different tactics prevalent in industry.. Taylor using them is not a issue since she can do well with or without them but other mentioned here can’t do much without them .. and folklore didn’t even had one proper pushed single since you mentioned that besides everyone does uses different methods for promoting you all will pin point on just someone whom you can discredit off their success… and didn’t chromatica had full promotion with oreos? Thongs? Those trucks and stuff and those weather channel partnership and its main focused single got well enough push .. chromatica without Ariana and blackpink collab is barely gaining 500k .. while folklore is gaining 3.5-3.0 million daily and streaming has no impact from how many versions you can use

this is based on nothing but I feel like Rihanna will release a new album 2022. I also think Britney is capable of a comeback, but only if the quality is there, I was listening to XS by Rina Sawayama before and i think if she came back with something like that there’s no way it wouldn’t be a hit

sir, this is a losing battle for you. Dua Lipa has had 2 of the biggest hits of this decade off FN and many more big hits too, while folklore is outstreaming chromatica x3 everyday on Spotify with only one underperforming single under its belt.
in fact chromatica would only be pulling 500,000 streams daily without Rain On Me (which is only a hit because of Ariana Grande). and unlike FN and folklore a huge portion of Chromatica's pure sales are Tour Ticket Bundles. FN had no bundles and folklore only had merch bundles that only contributed by ~70k copies of the +650k pure sales debut in the US according to billboard's bb200 article.

in the years to come both FN and folklore would be leagues ahead of chromatica in EAS as both retain their appeal (FN's massive singles and folklore's incredible consistency in album cuts streams and weekly vinyl sales) while chromatica is struggling to not be outstreamed by Swift's 2010 album "Speak Now" only a year after its release

I think in order for Britney to have a comeback she will really have to put in the work and show people that she wants to still be a pop star, and is still good at being one. I don't think just uploading the new music to spotify and posting about it on twitter is going to be enough for her. But I agree the stage is set for a comeback, if she really wants it.

Exactly! However, I don’t think it’s been her that’s been putting out these individual releases we got last year. I think that’s been her label and management trying to see if they could continue on without her. Which they quickly found out that’s not gonna work. So we’ll see happens.

Well if you remove Rihanna's 30 second hook features then they wouldn't be that far away. Rih is only at 80m without features. When it comes to album sales, Gaga outsold her despite releasing less albums in a worse climate.
