It's important to note that unlike many K-Pop albums, The Album also had foreign editions. In Europe, North America, Latin America, Japan the album was locally produced. Thus, the version tracked by Gaon relates to sales from Asia (mainly SK and China) plus Oceania, with some exports elsewhere, but they are not global units!
I’m intrigued to know where do Blackpink rank among other k-pop artists, being from the UK I don’t know many k-pop songs but I’ve tried to make myself at least aware of the biggest acts, obviously BTS are by far and away the most successful, but where do acts like EXO, NCT 17 and Twice rank
Well on this list are only two k-pop acts bts and BP
BTs is in the highest place and bp in the 2nd, but from those who are not Included, it's possible that Exo and BigBang have more CSPC then Blackpink and acts like NCT and Twice stand not far behind Blackpink

Why did you multiply one for 5 and the other for 50? How are you able to tell if it's available for audio stream or not? all of the songs simply say available for vip users in my app.
of course it's wrong, you didn't even include Big bang, Iu don't have sales, btw Exo has way more digital sales then twice, and twice is don't have that many as well as there streams are relatively small

Twice would be below BP based on this methodology. They are best selling in physical units, but worldwide they have very low impact and their CSPC wouldn't be very much higher, about 14-15 million max. They have very low downloads, streams, and views outside of Japan and Korea.
Well, Blackpink is accompanied by streaming which is obvious, but they have a very low share in EAS. Twice isn't the biggest girl group digital wise. But they have physical sales to back them up. Their best selling album is just a mini album above 600,000 sales. I don't know if they have compilations but seing as their sales are already gigantic for a K-pop act, along with streaming, they'd have a huge score. I doubt they'll be above BlackPink. I'm just suggesting an idea.
