Very interesting are the overall numbers at nearly 60M EAS for Soviet singer-songwriter Vladimir Vysotsky (1938 – 1980). Although singing exclusively in Russian I guess he continues to be valued and revered worldwide, also due to the fact he was critical with the political system he was living in.
How much of Vysotsky's success has been achieved outside the Soviet Union, for example in the Western world?
Then I have another question:
Personally, I'd be really interested in sales analysis of Flaming Youth and Brand X (both bands in which Phil Collins was a member). However, I know there's probably not a lot of general interest in having these bands analyzed. So, I'd like to know how much it would cost to have Flaming Youth and Brand X analyzed.
Thank you for the information.
Hello, this is my first comment, and I wanted to tell you something. I really liked that you added artists with all their details, but without a CSPC. I'd like you to add these artists:
- Spandau Ballet
- Roxette
- Pet Shop Boys
- Huey Lewis and the News
- Rick Astley
- The Cure
- Survivor
- Toto
- Richard Marx
- Europe
- Eurythmics
Thank you very much. Let's keep in touch. Best regards.
Hi @thebosss! Your list is such a throwback to the second half of the 80s 😉
Indeed the current additions are everything but done, planned are:
- the remaining artists from the voting leaderboard (31 are missing right now)
- all artists already listed in the best selling artists screen based on streams alone (say Future or Sia)
- an extended list of local legends from sizable markets (the 5-15 top sellers ever in France, Italy, Germany, Japan, Brazil, etc.)
- 'Near misses', which is basically an extended version of the voting list, artists in the 25-50 million range that are worth checking. Most of your list falls into this one along with many more artists from various eras, that goes from Billie Holiday to Iron Butterfly to Nelly Furtado.
Will CSPCs be easier to work on after yall are finished with the leaderboards? Do yall expect the articles to be able to come out at a quicker pace, or will it likely be at around the same pace as before?
They will definitely be easier! The good thing with these 'mock' CSPCs is that they led me to create quick ways to value some stuff, and then there are some pieces of the work that are already done too 🙂
Today I wanted to say that I'm really enjoying the articles you're publishing. The next article will most likely focus on Spanish-speaking singers, given the recent entries on the list. Is that correct? I'd like to know when the order of future genres and countries will be published, if possible.
It would be great if you could include more entries on: pop, rock, alternative, metal, soul, R&B, jazz, folk, electronic music.
Thank you again for your attention!
Best regards,
