Yeah I know, there's no #55 on my list - that's Dream On!
And I forgot to update It Was a Good Day (it was 814M apr23).
As of 2/1/2024:
55 (–) AEROSMITH – Dream On – 1042M
61 (–) ICE CUBE – It Was a Good Day – 1015M
Dream On has a 1.994M Live in Berlin version not on Spotify anymore.
So Rocket Man, Girls Just..., Wannabe and Paradise City all move down one spot on my list above.
65 songs are above 1B mark then (or 64? See MJD's post below).
Hi, the answer is 738m, where is my $1 million?
From our streams history page:
07.12.23 I Will Survive 605,119,791
07.12.23 Come and Get Your Love - Single Version 605,119,791
It's the same situation that we saw with the christmas songs last year.
Up to this date they shared their total, if you add them together now they add for 618m which is pretty consistent.
Thanks MJD.
What a mess!
I noticed Burl Ives "A Holly Jolly Xmas" is missing big numbers too. It was 760M a year ago - now just 475M. Must be one of the Xmas songs you refer to.
Last time you said: "Gloria shoots straight to #37 with close to 1B plays! She should most likely have been on the list for years, I somehow missed her so far." If Al is right I guess you didn't actually missed it previously.
These are the ones, and their total at 11.11.2023
Bing Crosby White Christmas - 1947 Version 1,367,504,044
Brenda Lee Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree 1,367,504,044
Burl Ives Christmas Child 1,367,504,044
Ella Fitzgerald Christmas Island 1,367,504,044
The day after the issue got fixed, possibly cause this "combo" climbed as high as #16 on US Spotify charts.
It won't surprise me if the error somehow comes back like we've seen too many times though.
As we speak now are Johnny Cash's Folsom Prison Blues, Country Boy and I Was There When It Happened also merged.
I'm starting to suspect this merged total error is/was the reason behind other of the songs with switching totals (Stevie Wonder, Pink Floyd, etc). But it's not the easiest to confirm if you don't know what the 2nd (or more) song is.
With this in mind though I'm always leaning towards the lower number now unless proven otherwise.
Bing Crosby - White Christmas - 1947 version now has two versions at 484M and 450M. Bringing it's combined total at 951.4M (last year I had it at 408.6M),
Is that a glitch?!
Pretty sure it is,
I swear that 450m version was at 150-200m or so not too long ago. If it was that strong it would have made charts too.

A lot of big ones this year! In 2023 only 4 tracks (by Tears for Fears, Radiohead, A-ha and Police) were over 400M. In 2024 that number is 16!
5 huge ones are above 500M in 2024, in 2023 Tears for Fears was #1 with 'just' 476M.
Biggest of all in 2024 was the Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris" with 632M, thanks to the Deadpool movie.
It thus skyrockets from #20 to #9 on the all time chart!
Queen's "Don't Stop Me Now" lost the battle for second spot to both A-ha and the Police, dropping #2-4. Queen's "Another One" (#9-11), "Under Pressure" (#17-24) and "WWRY" (#38-41) also drops.
Bo Rhap is still #1 of course, but maybe not forever! It still leads #2 by 400M, but in 2024 it 'only' did 336M - not even in the top 30 of the year. That's about 200M less than A-ha and almost 250M less than the Police!
The Eagles "Hotel California" makes a big drop from #11-17 due to 'just' 320M in 2024.
Winners include CCR. Their two songs climb #27-21 and #43-32 respectively. AC/DC's "YSMANL" climbs 59-47 (HTH tops BIB for AC/DC #1), Cyndi Lauper's "Girls" climb 62-52 and with 342M in 2024 Elton John's "I'm Still Standing" enter the list at #59.
One year ago Bo Rhap was the only song above 2 Billion. Now there are 15 songs!
