Carey's 3 cd box is number 3 on Taiwan's official list, G music, western artists.
Hi Raffi!
Thanks for list, I've fixed typos now:
- added MTV Unplugged to album sales by country
- fixed the Everytime I Close My Eyes physical sales and streaming issues
- fixed I'll Be There streams (1)
- fixed the couple of awkward sentences
About (1), it's a really good use since at last I understood why the track (its 2 main versions) wasn't appearing in the streaming tool. It was as silly as the title breaking the 100 characters limit. More songs from other artists can appear back too from today although I expect it's very rare.
The fix of I'll Be There streams also imply that many sales of MTV Unplugged translated from the first 2 albums to the Orphan section, pushing them below 20m and 15m, respectively.
I Know What You Want: both numbers, old and new, were wrong. The former estimate was a flat conversion of streaming numbers due to the complete absence of data. Now we have solid indicators for US downloads, US ringtones, UK downloads, and South Korean downloads. The song does much worse in all these except the former compared to its streaming performance, it is especially poor in Asian markets. Still, the new figure was erroneous, I had to push them down (compared to indicators) to fit with Charmbracelet's 440k track downloads total. I trapped myself, as the excel formula is now identifying IKWYW as a Charmbracelet track, but after going on several digital platforms, the default version of the album doesn't contain it. Realistically, the 440k figure is for the original tracklist. Thus I re-calculated based on the indicators, and re-aligned the remaining tracks from the album to fit with the US total.
About the final 2 points, actually I agree 100% about them, it's more a technical/complexity issue. The whole file/queries/process is already wild and long, we can't distinguish all versions of all records, estimate them distinctively, set up the tracklists one by one and apply the scripts to all of it. Excel is already screaming when we run them as they are ^^"
You're welcome, and thanks for fixing all those errors! Also, regarding your last statement, I completely understand, as these are just small nitpicks of mine since I am quite verse in Mariah's discography, but for casual readers I don't think this as much of an issue, plus the overall picture isn't distorted.
Keep up the good work!

lowered her album sales again, debut was literally at 19.9m before the updated, thanks for proving you really are not a reliable source!
How does that prove unreliability? Surely it's more reputable to admit mistakes and strive to correct them, in a bid to achieve better and more correct figures, no?
I guess you are just annoyed that it has slipped a bit further away from 20m and you were excited to see it pass this mark and just disparaging our reliability because you do not like the results.
Also, not to mention you selectively discredit Chartmasters based on this particular data of her debut that you don't like, but ignore everything else that was a positive update
As a Mariah Carey fan, yes I was sad to see the debut and Emotions under 20m and 15m, but simultaneously, I am more than happy with results like 193m total units, or Butterfly at almost 11m pure album sales/40m physical singles/150m+ pure album sales etc.
Like Martin said, here results are often checked over and over to lead to more accurate (or close to accurate) results. The methodology you can disagree with, it's all a matter of opinion tbh, plus it's not perfect considering various technicality issues I discussed previously here. But still, to review all the data and correcting them surely does not make Chartmasters any less reputable/accurate.
Could you explain what is fraudulent about it, as it's far more transparent and accurate, than anything else out there. I guess you're just the kind of person who bemoans and gets annoyed about stuff they don't understand.
Hi MJD, "Greatest Hits" was certified 3x platinum in the UK this year, is it possible to have 900k pure sales there?
Up Out My Face is gaining a little traction. MEMOIRS the timeless and ahead of the time album that you are.
Releases are certified for shipments and not for sales. So, Greatest Hits being certified for 900,000 shipments suggest that its sales are usually lower. With an estimation for 825,000 sales a few weeks ago, there is probably no need for an increasing correction.
Can we have an analysis of Mariah's sales in Germany, Japan, the Netherlands and Brazil? I loved the one you did about France a few years ago
I'm so curious to know how much Music Box, Daydream, Merry Christmas and Butterfly sold in South Korea!
