The best 80s band are Swans, Sonic Youth, Butthole Surfers, Savage Republic, Husker Du, Pixies, Gun Club, Flaming Lips... all alternative/experimental rock groups outside the mainstream.
Hey. It's been nearly a month since this article was posted. Who's the next artist?
Fix me nicely physical singles, donot fit the counts, probably in all albums.
Hi Jorge Neto!
Although no CSPC article has been posted a lot has been going on lately, with the notable addition of top streaming debuts by country & by artist as well as the most streamed albums by language, thanks to the heavy contribution of Al!
As for CSPC the artist currently studied is Jimi Hendrix. His discography is about 3 times larger than Iron Maiden, as surprising as it seems, so it takes a bit of time. I've got personal constraints during the last weeks so that slowed down the work a bit, but his physical singles, EPs are done, and his album sales are almost complete. I don't expect videos and downloads to take too long so we are getting close to the end!
The credit goes to pharaonic shows, mannerist professionalism, AOR productions and compliant iconography, basically the English analogue of Kiss. A way of reconnecting to the dark tradition of Black Sabbath and Judas Priest, less brutal and more sensationalist, simply increasing the sound volume and the truculent gait.
Please when to repear your physical singles ? You have errors in every album do not fit your numbers.
I wish you a good day. When will you please fix the physical singles nicely?
Hi Jsak!
Yes, everything is counted and detailed inside the page, with appropriate weighting for each format.
I wouldn't have expected The number of the beast to beat Master of puppets as a hit album, maybe the song videos made a difference ?
As MJD said, everything is detailed in the article.

No such thing as best bands, a band you love might be found boring by someone else vice versa, what you should say is the bands from the 80s i enjoyed most were . . ..... Leave the best band shit to the fashion victim pop sheep.
They evolved so much and some of their stuff is amazing ie their 70s stuff you cant say sad wings of destiny stinks.
My favourite album was painkiller until i listened to their 70s stuff properly and on vinyl although i cant find a good copy of sad wings even a good clean rip.
Somewhere and piece of mind are my joint favourites, senjutsu is climbing up my list at a fast rate. I have a love for no prayer and virtual 11 , no prayer has that back to basics glad they put the breaks on i think if they hadn't they could have gone to far and done a metallica.
