Hey 👋 I love your stuff can this page be updated to the current year also drake got 84 billion streams on spotify so I would like to see hiw many albums he sold by now
Wow he moves over 15 million units each year? He will reach 200 million eas by 2028. Crazy part I wonder how high he reaches!. He isn't about one best selling album but overall consumption. He was smart enough to know streaming is gonna take over and striked the gold at right time. His catalog keeps selling week after week.
15 million each year "organically", with 30m daily Spotify streams (right now he does 56m including 14m for the last album), so he might reach 200m EAS before 2028.
I wonder if he's already the biggest rapper ever in the US? If not he'll be very soon, and he'll definitely get close to Eminem worldwide at this rate.
Wait the article says "well over 300k/week", so more like 17m each year organically.
The way he releases, he will have countless albums selling year after year. That is how u succeed in streaming era. Eminem also sells a lot but it will depend on how drake'a music ages in future
Hi Lol!
Forever sales are expectedly mostly from the US with 3.86 million downloads and over 1.5 million ringtones. Its next biggest market is South Korea at 400k, then both the UK and Canada with a bit over 200k each. Then sales go down to 100k in Japan and less elsewhere.
this drake update evidences the need to update numbers for streaming era artists due to the new streaming ratios (this is just advice, we all value your hard work and know how difficult it is to keep up with everything)
Off topic - but I really liked the "latest comments" segment on the right side of the main screen. Please bring it back.
Hi Dan!
We are going to restructure the menus over the next weeks, I'm still not satisfied at all with the current navigation of the site as it lacks clarity. We may put this section back somewhere, but as part of that restructure we want to remove most of the side menu as a first step which is too heavy right now and with a lot of stuff barely in use.
