You guys should study more women, they are only 1/3 of the artists analyzed here, I'm pretty sure there are plenty of successful female acts that haven't been studied yet

To be honest I don't see why women should be discriminated positively. I'm sure if we look at the average CSPC of female artists studied it's already quite lower than male figures, which means we already went deeper on studying them. The biggest missing artists are all males too (Frank Sinatra, Neil Diamond, Julio Iglesias, Eric Clapton, Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson, Stevie Wonder, Neil Young, etc). They are all well past 80m CSPC, a figure that no missing female will reach (5 would come close, Diana Ross, Linda Ronstadt, Gloria Estefan, Reba McEntire and Tina Turner).
Hi MJD, apparently Rick Wakeman’s Journey To The Centre Of The Earth has sold 14 million copies, The Myths and Legends of King Arthur has sold 12 million and The Six Wives of Henry VIII has sold 15 million copies, according to various sources across the internet. This feels like an exaggeration, or are these just under certified? Could you take a guess at their actual sales? And are these albums planned on being studied in the future?

Hi David!
I never went deep into his discography but at first glance I don't see him going as high as 80m. He sold a lot of singles, but not that many albums. It's hard to climb high without sizable album sales in markets like the US, Japan or Germany.
MJD would Diana Ross be studied with the Supremes or just herself to make it to 80m CSPC? I also wonder what Aretha Franklin's total would be. 50m?
