Thanks! I hope the webmasters of this site will update it with the correct data (and add Shadow Kingdom and the most recent Bootleg Series releases while they're at it).

I hope that too. Dylan has published 6 box sets and "Rough Ways" and "Triplicate" albums after 2016. Dylan is heavy catalogue sellér. Also Nobel literature increased sales of lot, expecially in Asia and Japan. And it is new status for Dylan and one step up.

I think there is some kind of stagnation, when physical sales have not been updated under many legacy artists for 6-7years. I think it is due to the fact the numbers of copies is not known.
Ifpi published the entire recorded production as revenue incl. even performing rights, synch rights.

Dylan's biggest songs is quite different from biggest tracks. On Quora, musician and author Todd Lowry lists Dylan's most profitable songs. Order 1. Make You Feel My Love, Adele's popular version has received over 1.1 billion plays on Spotify. Dare to say that ko. the chapel has amassed 1.6 billion Spotify plays, a standard for movies, a standard song for singing competitions. ......2. Wagon Wheel, the 3rd best selling country song in the world. Darius Rucker's version has been certified 11 platinum by the RIAA. Secor Version 3 Platinum RIAA. That is 14 million in the USA. Popular song around the world. .......3. Blowin in the Wind, which is Dylan's most popular and most profitable anthem of all time Surely over a billion Spotify plays. Only seventh is Knockin on the Heaven's Door and eighth is All Along the Watchtower, which generated 17.3 million EAS performed by Henrix. More than 1.1 billion plays on Spotify for Dylan and Guns'n Roses alone. ...As you can see, cover versions are profitable. If Dylan's EAS is 160 million today, the cover versions probably generate the same amount. It is especially popular in movies, where Dylan is the most used artist before Elvis, Bowie, Springsteen. About 2,000 books have been written about him. In 2016, Dylan was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature, the only songwriter to have received it. So yesterday he turned 83 and the concerts continue, 70-80 concerts every year. Corona kept him sidelined for a couple of years. .......Timothee Chalamet is having the best time filming a biopic about him. A very active elderly person.

It is very likely that Quora's Todd Lowry has seen all of Dylan's archives and Universal's and Sony's income from artists. 2020 Dylan sold the publishing proceeds of the song catalog to the Universal company. 400 million was received from them. This income was largely from cover versions, film music. .........In 2021, Dylan sold the Master Tapes to Sony for $200 million. Traveling Wilburys part he sold to Primary Wave. He gave his archive to his own center for 29 million dollars. The real value of the archive is at least 60 million dollars. in any case, everything is in good storage BD center.

The country song (Wagon Wheel) written by Bob Dylan in 1973 and recorded in Mexico is one of the best selling songs ever in the USA. Sony Publishing announced in June that the song's sales are +16 million and the radio airplay audience is +4 billion. Wagon wheel is e.g. 11 platinum for Danius Rucker and 3 platinum for Old Crew Medicine Show. So Dylan wrote the music in 1973 and Ketch Secor wrote the lyrics in 2001. This song can be said to be organic, it has spread through bars and schools. The song is easy to sing and play, 3 chords. In addition to usa, it is popular e.g. In Canada, Australia, Ireland. It sells really well all the time and it has been too popular for a long time and e.g. In Nashville, it has been banned. It is Bob Dylan's second highest grossing song of this millennium after Make You Feel My Love. Blowin In The Wind is his most profitable song of all time, so it is a global anthem. Dylan's royalties have been 30-40 million dollars a year. Cover versions and their licensing e.g. to movies is lucrative.
