I wanted to ask: why do you have Mexican sales of the Viva la Vida album at 85,000 when AMPROFON has certified the album 2x Diamond+4xPlatinum for 1,200,000 copies in the “Full Album Preloaded” caregory?
Why is the AMPROFON number so high?

I decided to exclude preloaded sales as they aren't legitimate, they don't reflect the success of an album / artist. Those awards refer to smartphones sold with the album included on them. Nobody buy a smartphone because of some songs present on it. Allowing those sales would be like arguying the Microsoft Solitaire is the best selling game of all-time just because it features on computers with Windows!
PS: in Portuguese it's Vieira rather than Viera 😉

No conclusions yet on Coldplay? They are one of the only modern day rock bands that continue to be popular! I think they are the biggest band in the world right now!
18 months gone after updated. We all know Coldplay been inactive most of time. But end of 2018, they released Live in Buenos Aires. So it's great chance to update.
Geographically its in North America. Culturally its considered as Latin America. It is to represent the Spanish/Portuguese diaspora. Many people include Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, etc as Latin America. In fact Latin America itself is not a continent, more like a region.

30 years ago, there were saying like this "Rock is dead", but Nirvana came out. So do not worry. Rock is not dead.
It's not dead but it's not as popular as it once was, certainly not as popular as it still was 30 years ago, when rock acts such as Bon Jovi, Springsteen, Guns N Roses, Def Leppard, U2, Aerosmith (and many others), were some of the most popular and successful acts around.
The majority of interest that still exists in rock, seems to be more centered around acts from the past, classic rock acts. Take a look at the UK Rock Charts, available at the OCC, the singes and albums charts are basically just a list of the most popular catalogue rock. Seldom do albums by contemporary acts or even new albums from older artists, hang around in the chart long.
