Her streams are already up-to-date, as they're automatically updated every day.
And her sales were last updated 2 years ago. She hasn't released any new album since then, so she wouldn't get a big sales boost.
Hey Guys! If you click on "Top Artists - EAS" tab (it's right under the LOG IN) Britney's streaming numbers are updated daily. The most recent total is 111,327,000.
Doja Cat and Lil Nas X also was updated automatically . They pages renewed with latest sales , that much low , then Britney had .
Also that streaming artists do not release any new album since last analysis .
I think Britney can wait if before they update MJ , Madonna , Celine Dion , Whitney Houston etc .
If it were up to me I'd love to see constant updates to Artist's Sales, but I'm sure it's a VERY detailed & time-consuming process. On top of that, physical & digital sales are a drop in the bucket compared with a few years ago. That leaves streaming & those numbers are updated on the Top Artists - EAS page.
Britney is an amazing woman, who has endured a lot of tragedy. Here's hoping she finds healing so she can continue her career & record regularly again.
Britney Spears was surpassed in records sales by Taylor Swift and very soon by Rihanna and Adele, female artists who debuted almost a decade after her. Britney Spears is a disappointment to most of her fans. If she would have released at least one album in all these years since she stopped releasing music, she could have pushed the numbers further. Britney is the biggest loser in the history of pop music. At one time she was compared to Madonna, and later she ended up being outranked in every way by a former ex fan of hers, Taylor Swift. In a decade Britney it will completely disappear from the radar. No one will remember her, maybe her madness
I can't stand Britney but this isn't true at all. Her streams have grown tremendously versus a few years ago. Younger people are still listening to her music, even if it is driven by the sensationalism over her mental state.
