Damn, Happier Than Ever really is a massive decline from her first two projects. That 2M figure from streaming includes all the pre-release singles too which went on for over a year before the album came out. Currently the only song doing anything on streaming is the title track. As a whole the era will be lucky to cross 5 million CSPC. She really messed up by focusing too much on songs that talk about her issues with fame. She's having the same problem Gaga had circa ARTPOP.
More her lack of singing talent is clear to everyone now. Her so called edgy appeal went out of fashion like Gaga's.
But LG had massive vocal talent to come back and performance skills. Billie was awarded for mediocre mumbling. New gen of streaming girls really cant sing. ( ariana debuted in digital age )
some people value people who make music more than people who simply sing songs. Just because someone’s focus isn’t vocals doesn’t mean they can’t sing
She obviously does have talent if she can sing, write, and produce music while you remain sitting at home. Her parents weren't rich and didn't buy her career either. Fans did.
HitsDailyDouble US pure sales
WWAFA,WDWG - 1,212,000 (188,000 from 2021)
DSAM - 565,000 (146,000 from 2021)
Happier Than Ever - 371,000
Is it possible for them to be updated any soon?
Her parents r rich and she is clear case of industry plant. Second era is flop n she will be finished. I own my house and doing great. My father didn't buy me a career. i earned on my own without any nepotism in my field. Moveon blind worshipper. Worry about her next flop album
Winning an Oscar certainly deserves an update, doesn't it? Or will you wait for the grammy's? Keep up the good work!
Billie definitely deserves her success. Also, I don't see how Happier Than Ever could be "unsuccessful" to everyone when it has alot of streams and chart success? Lots of people from Stan Twitter says so.
update , it's been 2 years her debut album has already crossed 14M sales
her parents didn't buy her a career and her parents were not rich. they couldn't even get their own careers to succeed, you're just an old bitter hag. and she is not an industry plant because she is successful, she never lied about being signed to a label. move
They are comparing to her previous era in which case they got a point, but one can't expect her to hit those heights for every album.
Then again it's stan twitter, everything is a flop unless first place for many weeks and global hit
If she had added "Everything I Wanted" to 'Happier Than Ever', as most artists would've (*cough* Dua *cough*), that record would now be at 6.3M units.
hi,why is billie eilish's "Albuns CSPC results" gone? I would like to see the total of each album
I’m wondering if the feat that’s currently on Billie Eilish’s streams page can be removed? Those 41k streams are from a live version of All the good girls go to hell she did for an Amazon Prime Day special in 2021. Now on Spotify the song is only part of a random various artists album (Festival Hits 2023), but there’s nothing of it to be found on her official page. So I don’t feel like it should actually be listed on there
Happier Than Ever will finish 2023 with over 7m CSPC. This is why people should really avoid making comments like this in the streaming era. The key to success now is longevity and Billie is great at that.
Happier than ever has a pretty good longevity, considering its lacks of hits.
At the end , not such a flop
Will probably reach 10mil somewhere in the first half of 2026 which is honestly pretty solid before its 5 year anniversary
She just reached 40m sales despite having her mainstream breakthrough in 2019! Also looking at how well hotline(edit) and her barbie soundtrack are doing it's hard to say she fell off, HTE didnt do as well as WWAFA and DSAM due to a messy rollout + WWAFA era overexposure but if she plays her cards right she can still have a very huge album
