Ringtones are part of the downloads. And she probably sold millions of them in Korea indeed.

Renaissance is actually doing good after alll. 2.5 Million Eas from streaming alone, and she just started touring the album , so expect that to rise.
I expect that album to Surpass 5Million till the end of 2023 or the first half of 2024.
(including physical sales and digital sales)

Do Ya'll think that Reniassance is a success?

Yes, definitely.
For a black female artist in her 40s, 25 years deep into her recording career, these are nice numbers. Especially since the rollout was also hindered due to the lack of visuals, which are a key component of Beyoncé's appeal as an artist.

What is she the Queen of? Clearly it's not sales. She doesn't have a voice like the real Queen (Freddie Mercury), and she's clearly not a Queen at song writing due to so many other people writing songs for her.
I don't see how she's a Queen at all.

Is there any chance for an update? Renaissance has 0 pure in this article and her outside Spotify ratio must be considerable higher now

Hey!

I think you made a mistake in the "Telephone" streams column. Its streaming units stand at 327,611 and it's ranked lower than Formation, Flawless, etc. despite the first having more streams...

Could you fix it, please ? 🙂

It's because "Telephone" is Lady Gaga's song feat Beyonce .

But i don't get it. Why are Telephone's streaming units lower than Formation, Flawless when it has more streams?

Do they split the units because it's not her song as a lead? I don't think they did for other artists

They started to downloaded the numbers of feat. artists like a year ago, and The total number per artist of EAS was already changed.

There is something off in 4’s physical single sales in the last table.

583,000 (13,000).

Dangerously In Love’s physical singles seems off too.

In The First Table the total is 684,000.

In the last table is 800,00. Is this right?

39 years have passed since the release of Private Dancer, and we're all looking forward to get Tina Turner analyzed... by the way, for the first time.
Maybe you understand now better.

61st place. Her fans make out she's right at the top, but she's quite a long way down the list. Certainly much lower down than you'd expect after all those years, considering the hype.

“Quite a long way down the list”

“Considering the hype”

She is the top, the top performer of her generation. Music sales are effectively just merchandising now, only rabid fans buy them and streams are manipulated by Spotify (their own admission) lol

She's not the top performer of her generation (1998-2023), even if you were to give her the benefit of adding the Destiny's Child discography to her solo work, she'd still be well behind Eminem (around 50m) and Swift (around 30m), in that time frame.

If just looking at her solo career, numerous acts have performed better than her in a similar time frame (2003-2023), such as Drake, Adele, Rihanna, Swift, West etc.

From 2000 to today would you take Eminem, Swift and Adele as a popularity podium?

1st two yes. 3rd could be anyone from Coldplay, Rihanna, BTS, Drake, Sheeran or Adele, depending on how you judge or view things.

She's the top PERFORMER of her generation in the sense that that no one comes close to her when talking about singing, dancing and overall PERFORMING ability. Sales are are a different metrics.

That's purely a subjective point of view and completely unmeasurable. On top of this, this site is quite obviously dedicated to music sales etc and nothing to do with performing, singing and dancing.

Still the 10th best selling solo woman act of all time, according to this site. That to me is being successful.
