Lmao your pr queen isn't. Her pr moves won't make her one . She ran away when she knew adele is releasing on 19th. And she doesn't affect other artists success sales. How that girl is an industry? Adele doesnt need cheap pr like that rich daddy's girl
stop being annoying, bringing all that stan twitter nonsense here, this is a blog for data nerds not stan wars...
Youtube, streams, movies, concerts, tv-series, radio air play and physical sales. And then you can count sales. I think movies is most important, or will be. There is big money, not in youtube.
You may be right, but in the long run, the impact of Adele might also be just the 21 album. A lot of the sales of 25 were driven by her popularity based on 21. Her new album should prove her endurance, which Taylor Swift has already shown
You have to adjust with times. Remember when record sales existed , where people added digital with albums, it inflated record sales and saying celine ,whitney got outsold by new girls, which was wrong.. At same time, new girls lost album market due to downloads.
That's why equivalent method is best. So we can see the revenue system to determine biggest artists.
With this we got 2 female artists of 21st century to cross 100 million equivalent album sales and Adele will be 3rd with best average. Infact even without 4th album, she will achieve it this decade. They get among top 10 best selling women artists, which is huge feat!
Jeez since single's release news, she is doing 9 million streams from old stuff. With just 3 albums. Looks like she will be fine on streaming too unless song is not liked by public. 25 is on verge of crossing 4 billion spotify streams and 21 will do it by next year early. 19 will do 2 billion eventually next year.
And i think she will be first mpg from digital era gen to have three 4 billion plus streams albums on spotify ( unless 30 flops lol ). Not bad for someone who sold nearly 78 to 80 million eas ( albums, dvds. eps, downloads, not streams ) from those 3 eras without the help of any single stream. Even with streams, she would've crossed 100 million eas eventually in long run. I say trioka of digital gen is Adele, Taylor and Rihanna, with ofc Adele's average untouchable. I hope 30 smashes, so she touches 100 million this year and by next year reach around 110 million overall.
I disagree that she will be the first to do 3 allbums +4B. 25, 21, and 19 are doing good recurrent numbers now post announcement, but before? Very average, if not plain bad for how big they were. If 30 has the same type of longevity that 25 had, then a year from now I won't be shocked to see those albums back to where they were prior to the announcement.
Meanwhile, Taylor is incredibly consistent with her recurrent figures, and I think for sure she will reach the milestone first. 1989 has amazing recurrents 24/7 and is sitting at 3B. When it hits 4B will be dependent on when she releases 1989 TV, but it's safe to say before mid 2023. Lover is currently at 3.4B, so it will most likely hit 4B mid 2022. Then the third will probably be folklore (2.3B rn but gaining 3M daily) or reputation (3.2B rn but gaining 2M daily).
25, 21 has more streams than any taylor's album. 25 will reach 4 billion in 3 or 4 days. On top of sales of 21 million, 20 million downloads. Taylor's best selling effort is half of that and still can't touch its overall streams. 21 is at 3.7 billion. Will do by January, if not December. Will have 2nd billion plus song from 21, an album which sold 31 million, 60 million downloads.Which makes 2 album to touch 4 billion. If 30 smashes, she will have 3 albums over 4 billion streams by next year first half. Most for any mpg from digital era and also being the fastest.
21,25 had more streams than any of other Taylor's album even before announcement. Look it up. They were over 3.5 and 3.7 billion even before annoucement and way on way to 4 billion faster than any Taylor's album. Taylor had released 4 albums in streaming era. Adele none to boost her streams. But she was doing amazing. 19 with lack of hits has more streams than fearless and gets more daily streams ( fearless tv is not same album ).
And i m talking about adele's 4th album hitting 4 billion. 1989 streams were boosted by all rereleases too. So why point out adele? Adele doesn't need to rerelease 100 times to sell without effort. Adele's 2 albums were released in dital era and did amazing. 25 is on way to 4 billion and dont forget her album sold 21 million copies. Other girls have streams but not that sales.
21, 25 ,30( potentially ) will cross 4 billion and she will become first mpg from pre 2010 to cross that mark with 3 albums. That's being said taylor did amazing too but on album to album basis. Adele has better average in streams. Whether in sales , streams or digitals. 90 million eas , an average of 30 million era per era. No mpg is touching that. I know swifties can't handle the fact she can't compete with Adele's sales. Cope with it.
How? She's the most well known in her family lol. Just accept it. Now, this is a site for DATA and not useless stans but clearly you're some twitter stan. Why not go argue in Twitter instead? Chartmasters is the wrong place for stans like you.
Weird how it's most likely your different accounts upvoting your comment. It's probably more twitter stans in the wrong website upvoting your comment that shows your lack of decency towards artists who you'll never be in the same level in
Says the one who got mad . Swiftie u should be last to talk. U dont own d damn site to order me around
I dont want to be on their level bcoz i m self made person. My father didn't buy me a career
