The issue with digital sales for French artists is that the format never really took off there. While the France / US ratio of album sales has for long been around 1 / 8, in terms of download sales it is around 1 / 30.
With this information in mind, we understand that Renaud‘s first six albums are full of very popular tunes. The biggest of them is Morgane de toi, followed by Dès que le vent soufflera from the same album.
